This is a Dell PowerEdge 2900 server. The E200 is a step up on power and capacity from the E100. It gives you two quad core processors and three 73GB 10k SAS drives in a RAID 5. The tower configuration of the E200 allows for up to 8 3.5" SAS drives to be included. This expanded drive capability allows for exceptional storage options. This server can be used for any number of functions from a application server, database server or to run any of the other Microsoft Enterprise Server products.
