MaximumASP, a Microsoft Gold Certified Provider of web hosting and managed IT services announced today the opening of their new data center in Chicago, Illinois. MaximumASP’s new data center will provide a broad range of IT infrastructure services, including off-site disaster recovery for the existing Louisville, Kentucky location, customer colocation services, managed private customer networks, and managed security services designed to meet the growing needs of enterprise IT customers.

MaximumASP’s new Chicago data center will provide SAN-to-SAN data replication via a private connection, allowing customers to retain backup data in two locations, with both locations having rapid-restore capabilities. The design and implementation of this system allows customers to have off-site data retention and backup capabilities without the management headaches typically found with keeping data synchronized between locations.

MaximumASP, a Microsoft Gold Certified Provider of web hosting services, today announced that it will be Microsoft Corp.'s first partner to provide free beta test accounts featuring Microsoft SQL Server 2008. This new technology release will be available in a hosted Beta environment in collaboration with Dell and the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS).

The SQL Server 2008 BETA launch will debut at ASP.NET Connections www.devconnections.com November 5-8 in Las Vegas. Attendees from around the world will receive sign-up information at the MaximumASP Booth, the Microsoft Booth and at various locations throughout the show. Show attendees that sign up for the offer will be first to experience and test Microsoft’s newest, most intelligent data platform in a hosted environment free of charge.

Beta accounts for the public will be available in January 2008 via sign-ups on a micro site specifically developed by the joint sponsors supporting the offer.

MaximumASP, a Microsoft Gold Certified provider of Windows-based hosting services, today announced their partnership with SmarterTools to provide business communication software for its dedicated server customers.

The software includes SmartMail 4.x, an award-winning, ASP.NET AJAX-based mail server; SmarterTicket 2.x, a helpdesk application designed for customer service departments; and SmarterStats 3.x, a robust site analytics application. With today's partnership, all customers purchasing a dedicated server from MaximumASP will receive all three applications at no charge, and will own a permanent software license in their own name. The software products normally retail at nearly $500.
