MaximumASP Partners with Dell and Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) to Offer Hosted August Community Technology Preview

(Louisville, KY August 14, 2009) MaximumASP, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a provider of Windows-based hosting and managed IT services, today announced that it will be Microsoft Corp.’s first partner to provide free hosted test accounts for the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Release 2 community technology preview (CTP) in August.

Dell, MaximumASP and PASS have partnered once again to bring you access to SQL Server 2008 R2 CTP hosted trials absolutely free. Sign-ups for the August CTP trial are available at www.betaforsqlserver.com. After obtaining a trial account users can try out the new CTP online in a secure hosted lab environment without downloading or installing anything.

"The free hosted test labs are a result of our long standing commitment to Microsoft technologies. We want to provide an easy way for people to learn about new Microsoft SQL Server technologies and gain a competitive advantage," said Sarah Barela, Manager of DBA Services at MaximumASP.

Building on the momentum of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server 2008 R2 improves IT efficiency by reducing the time and cost of developing and managing applications; empowers end users to make better decisions through self-service business intelligence and enables organizations to scale with confidence by providing high levels of reliability, security and scalability for business critical applications.

"PASS is dedicated to continually helping our community learn about new versions of SQL Server," noted PASS VP of Marketing Bill Graziano. "These hosted trials are a great way to test out the new features coming in SQL Server 2008 R2."
